Dear Sir:

In repIti pieesc rsicr to
A abort time ago, yourequseted as estimate of oont to lover
our gas transmission tae So. 101 below the flowline of Wooster
Greek at Colorado Avenue. At that teas an informal quota of
thirteen to fourteen tirousend dollars was given. Sines that
meeting, an entirely new route has beam under eon•tdsration 1x1 us,
which would oonsldera►bly lower the cost to the City of Palo Alto;
provided our rsoommeadation to Coapagy Management is approved.
Under the DOW plan, the total ooet of r.x utiag under Colorado
Avenue, over Wooster Creek, rsaovsl and salvage of main and easing
in Wooster Creek, plus Oity of Palo Alto's portion of the line shut-
down and tie-in expenses, would be 6000.00; or, a saving of approx-
imately $5,000.00.
We would! suggest %bat yolk expunge to obtain prslitsizar7 authorisation
from the City of Palo <c for expenditure of the $6,500,00„ pending
our Coecsry Manugssasrrt's approval of tips newly proposed routing of
line.
