The Council of the City of Palo Alto met in regular

The minutes of the regular meeting of May 25, 1914,
were read and approved as read.
Appropriation for Librarian,
Guy C. Miller of the Public Library Board requested toe:
an appropriation be made to prey the expenses of the libraria, iu
attending the annual meeting of the State Library Association et
San Diego.
On' action of Wing and Peterson it tuns ordered that th
appropriation `for this purpose ;,e made from the general fondant
to exceed $>o by unanimous vote on :~oil call.
License Fee Remitted..
M. A. Pnchan:, president of the Chamber of Commerce, •re-
quested that the license fee for entertainments be remitted in,
favor of the Chautauqua Assembly to be held in Palo Alto June
16-23.,1914.
On motion of Vail and ;:'osh er it was ordered that said
license; charge be remitted by unanimous vote on roll call.
