The-Counczl- of the City of Palo Alto met in regular. session on this date at 8 p.m., 1ait:n Mayor. Thoits presiding. Roll call as follows: Present: Ackley, Congdon, Henry, Jordan, l,a'-:1 , LaPeire, Miller, Mosher, Peterson, Swain, Thoits. - Abeent: Hettinger, Vail, Vandervoort, Wing. The minutes of the regular meeting of May 11, 1914, were rea.d and approved as read. - Petition for Bond Election. n, • A petition :wa.s presented entitled "Petition to call an- other election in the City of Palo Alto for a reconsideration by the voters of _Propositions known as Third and Fourth to incur a bonded i ndeb ted•;aess, - and voted on at bas: election held in said City on May 14th,1914." Said petition was signed by 257 elec- tors, with duly attested verification affidavits, and with the certificate of the City Clerk that said signers are qualified voters of the city : of Palo Alto. Mosher moved that the Council proceed to take the noes eary action to call an election in accordance with the petition.. The motion was seconded by Miller and passed.
