STANFORD UNIVERSITY ANNEXATION NO. 7
BEGINNING at a concrete highway monument set on the South-
westerly line of El Camino Real (State Highway) opposite
Engineer's Station 18415.24 (District IV,Santa Clara County,
Route 2, Section A), as said Southwesterly line was established
in that certain Final Order of Condemnation entered in the
Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County
of Santa Clara in that certain action entitled "The People of
the State of California acting by and through the Department
of Public Works, Plaintiff, vs the Board of Trustees of the
Leland Stanford, Jr., University et al, Defendant, Case No.
39384, a certified copy of which order was filed for record in
the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State
of California, on July 7, 1930 in Book 520 of Official Records,
page 571; said monument being. distant along the said South-
westerly line of El Camino Real, South 46. 45' East 101.52
feet from the po.,at 3f intersection thereof with the centerline
of Quarry Road, 60.00 feet in width; running thence from said
concrete highway mo'iumant, North 46° 45' West and along the
said Southwesterly line of El Camino Real, for a distance of
101.52 feet to the point of intersection thereof with the center-
line of Quarry Road; running thence along the centerline of
Quarry Road, South 442° 37' West 1064.44 feet; thence continuing
along the centerline of said Quarry Road, on the arc of a curve
to the left with a radius of 330.00 feet through a central
angle of 234 00', an arc distance of 132.47 feet; thence contin-
uing along the centerline of said Quarry Road, South 19' 37' West
477.00 feet; thence continuing along said centerline of Quarry
road, on the arc of a curve to the right, with a radius of
2090.00 feet, through a central angle of 3' 58' 30", an arc
distance of 145.00 feet to a point in the Southwesterly line of
Arboretum Road, 60 feet wide thence along the centerline of
fQuarry Road 60.00 feet in width, South 21 46' 15" West 1396.97
eet; thence leaving the centerline of said Quarry Road North
75° 04' 43" West, along the Northerly line of the lands leased
to Palo Alto, 937.08 feet; thence on the arc of a curve to the
left with a radius of 125.00 feet through a central angle of
90° 00', an arc distance of 196.35 feet; thence continuing along
said lease line South 14° 55' 17" West 874.92 feet to a point
in the Southerly line of Pasteur Drive (50.00 feet in width);
thence continuing South 14' 55# 17" West 233.58 feet; thence
along the existing City Limits line North 75. 04' 43" West 800.00
feet;. thence continuing along said line on the arc of a curve to
the right with a radius of 100.00 feet, through a central angle
of 90' 00', an arc distance of 157.08 feet• thence continuing
along said line North 14' 55' 17" East 15.11 feet to the true
point of beginning of the parcel to be described; thence from
said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING along maid City Limits line, North
14° 55' 17" East 60.87 feet; thence on the arc of a curve to the
left with a radius of 40.00 feet through a central angle of
57. 37' 52" an arc distance of 410.23 feet; thence continuing
along said line North 42' 42' 35" West 354.01 feet; thence South
47' 17' 25" West, continuing along said City Limits line, 621.42
feet; thence leaving said line South 42' 42 35" East 71.00 feet;
thence North 47. 17' 25° East 345.00 feet; thence on the arc of
a curve to the right, with .a radius of 25.00 feet, through a
central angle of 990. 00' an arc distance of 39.27 feet; thence
South 42. 42' 35" last 290.59 feet • thence on the arc of a curve
to the right with a radius of. 40.00 feet through a central angle
