• The Council of the City of Palo Alto met in regular
session on this date, at .v o'clock p.m., with `,.ayor Thoits pre^ -
siding. Roll call as follows:
Present: Ackley, Congdon, Hettinger, Jordan, Lakin, LaPeire,
Miller, Mosher, Peterson, Swain, Thoits, Wins.
Absent: Henry, Vail, Vandervoort.
The minutes of the regular meeting of April 15th
were read and approved as read.

table, and the motion was carried by the following vote on roll
