April 27th, 1914 w • The Council of the City of Palo Alto met in regular session on this date, at .v o'clock p.m., with `,.ayor Thoits pre^ - siding. Roll call as follows: Present: Ackley, Congdon, Hettinger, Jordan, Lakin, LaPeire, Miller, Mosher, Peterson, Swain, Thoits, Wins. Absent: Henry, Vail, Vandervoort. The minutes of the regular meeting of April 15th were read and approved as read. 1914, Communication from Miss Kendall. Peterson and Miller moved. that action in awarding the contract be deferred until after May 14th, 1914. Jordan and Hettinger made a substitute motion report of the Board of Public Works be adopted.
