RESOLVED, by the Council Of the City of Palo Alto, ' C&],ifornia
that
WH*RZAS, said Council, Pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 2044 adctpt0A 0i4414 tad , on *4744-19560 levied assess-
ments against certain parcels of land within the City, including
property„asissied' Minder Diagram and Assessment No. 627, a portion

sition of easements for the construction of street improvements

lution of intention No. 2744, and saicl` e ents have been
edigeted on property acquired from the owner of the property
assassed under Diegrq4 and Assessment No. 627; and
WHINEAS _ the State of California proposes to acquire the prop
arty on which said improvements have been oonstruated, and the pub
lie interest, convenience and necessity require the modification
of the assessment on said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED
that:
1. Diagram and Assessment No. 627 is modified by reducing
it from the amount of $1,384.99 to the amount of $1,082.82.
2, The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to
prepare a warrant drawn upon the Construction Fund of said Project
No. 55-11, payable to Edgar A. Morgan in the amount of #302.17,
representing the principal amount of $237.07 by which said assess-
ment is reduced, and interest on said amount over the full period
of the bonds of $65.10,
3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to send a certified
copy of this resolution to the City controller.
