On motion the report was accepted and ordered filed.
Ordinance N. 9 Adoated--Callinc .dl_ecticn.
Ordinance Nos -89, entitled "An ordinance providing for a
minicipal election for the purpose of electing six councilmen as mem-
bers of the council of the City of Palo Alto" was given second reading -
On motion of Vail and Mosher the ordinance was amended to
read that the polls shall be opened at six o'clock in the forenoon
of said election day and shall be kept open until seven o'clock in the
afternoon of said. day.
On motion of La?eire and Allen, Ordinance No. 39 was adopted
as amended by unanimous vote on roll call.
Claims Allowed.
On motion of Jmphreys and Allen the following claims were
allowed and warrants ordered drawn in payment of the sane by unanimous
