Roll call as follows; Present; Ackley, Congdon, Downing, Hettinger, Hyde, Jordan, LaPeire Mills, Mosher, Thoits, Umphreys, Vail. Absent: Henry, Vandervoort, Wing. Contract for Printing Codified Ordinances. The Auditing and Accounts Committee presented the follow- ing report; "To the Honorable the Council of the City of J2a13 Alto: Gentlemen: Your committee on Auditing and Accounts has received bide for printing the Codified Ordinances of the City of Pao Alto as follows: The Citizen, 1000 copies $9C'0.00 .. A. Stuar ¢, 1000 546.00 � Times Pub. Col000 " 500.00 J. A. Quelle 1 000 400.00 J.A. Q,uelle 2000 " 550.00 Your Committee recommends that a contract be entered into with J.A. Q;aeile to print 2000 copies at the price quoted. Your committee further recommends that 500 copies of the Charter and Amendments thereto be printed and bound separately at an approximate cost of $30.00," - 0n motion of Mosher aid Congdon the report was accepted and the recommendations adopted by unanimous vote on roll call.. Vail and Mosher moved that the matter of having. 50 copies of the Codified Ordinances bound in cloth be referred to the Audi w irlg and Accounts Committee with power to act. The motion was a- eopted. Millis moved that as soon as the estimates by the various departments of the city government for the annual budget are com- p=eted they be turned over to the Ways & Means Committee. The mo- tion was seconded by Hyde and adopted. A resolution was introduced on. motion of Vail and Downing entitled "A resolution providing for the gale of 'Pale oato Pnbiic Service Bond3,' issued in accordance withthe provi ;;i.0 ns of Ordi- nance no. 55 of the City of Palo Alto."
