Sect4on a. That notice is hereby given that Monday, the 25th
day of August, 1958, et the hour of 7130 p. m., et the Council Chambers
of the City Counoil of said City, in the City Hall, Palo Alto, California;,
be and the same is hereby vet as the day, hour and place where and
when any and all persons having any objectione to the proposed abandon-
ment may appear before said Council and show cause why said easement
should not be abandoned.
§ect1gn 4. That the Palo Alto Times, a daily newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of Palo Alto, is
hereby designated as the newspaper in which the City of Palo Alto
shall cause to be published, in the manner and form required by
law, a copy of tnia resolution of intention by causing the same to be
published in said newspaper for at least two a ooesslve weeks prior
to the date of the hearing of objections to the proposed abandonment.
§e ation 5. That the City Engineer of the said City of Palo Alto
shall cause to be conspicuously pouted along the line of the easement
proposed to be vacated notices of the passage of this resolution of
intention at least ten days before the date set for hearing. Said
notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but at least
three notices shall be posted.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto on Monday, the 28th day of July , 1958, by
the following vote:
