A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS FOR THE
SECOND DIVISION OF BONDS
UNIVERSITY A VENUE DISTRICT
OFF-STREET PARKING
PROJECT NO . 52-13
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of P alo Alto,
Californi a, that
1. The City Cle rk is her eby di rected to call f or sealed
proposals or bids f or the sale of $450,000 University A ven ue
Distr ict, Parking Bonds of 1957, Seco nd Division to be issued in
the pr ocee dings had and taken by this C ouncil pu rsuant to its
,Resolution No. 2411 of Intentio n adopted by it on M arch 23, 1953,
as mo dified.
2. Notice thereo f shall be published twice in the Palo
Alto Times, a newspaper of general circulation pri nted, p ublished
and circulate d in said City, the first of which sh all be at le ast
10 days befor e the day fixed for r eceiving bid s, a nd give notice
of the time and place when an d where sa id bids will be publicly
open ed, examined an d declar ed.
3. The Council will f”rn ish the legal opinion of the law
fir m of Kirkbride, Wilson, Harzfeld & Walla ce, San Mateo, C alifo r-
n ia, u nqualifiedly a ppr ov ing the lega lity of the proceedings and
the issua nce of said bonds .
