A RESOLUTION G BIDS FOR SAYE OF
SUPPLEMENTAL ENDS
CALIFORNIA AVENUE DISTRICT

PROUCT NO. 55-5
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
1. The City Clerk is hereby directed to will for sealed
proposals or bide for the sale of $80,000 auppleslental bends to
be ivaued in the proceedings had and taken by the Council pursuant
to its Resolution No. 2650 of Intention, adopted by it on September
12, 1955, modified as described in Resolution No. 2979, A Resolu-
tion of Preliminary Approval of Estimate of Cost and of Preliminary
Determination and of Intention to Make Changes and Modifioatioena.
2. Notice thereof shall be published twioe in the Palo
Alto Times, a newspaper of general oirculatlon, printed, published
and oiroulated in said City, the first of'whioh shall be at least
ten (10) days before the date fixed for receiving bide, and giving
notice of the time and place when end where said bids will be
publioly opened, examined and declared.
3. The Council will furnish the legal opinion of the
law firm of Kirkbride, Wilson, Herzfeld & Wallace, San Mateo,
California, unqualifiedly approving the legality of the proceedings
in the issuance of ®aid bonds.
I hereby certify the fecregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meting thereof held on the 12th day of
pay , 1958, by the following vote of the members there
