RESOLUTION NO. 2989
A RESOLUTION AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
FABIAN WAY, ET AL.
PROJECT NO. 57-11
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2944
adopted by said Council on January 13, 1958, as amended, and its
Resolution calling for bide on sale of bonds pursuant thereto,
adopted on April 14, 1958, notice of said sale has been duly given
WHEREAS, said bide have been received and publicly
opened by the City Manager and reported to this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT XS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That all written bide received for the purchase
of said bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are
hereby, rejected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby,
ordered sold to FIRST CALIFORNIA COMPANY
as the highest responsible bidder therefor, said sale to be subject
to all of the terms and conditions set forth in the Notice of Sale
of said bonds and in said accepted bid.
2. That the City Clerk be, and she ie hereby, directed
to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same be immed-
iately signed, sealed and delivered to said bidder on receipt of
the amount therefor together with accrued interest to date of
delivery, and upon the performance of the conditions contained in
said written offer.
3. That the interest ,:ate of said bonds be, and the
same is hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid.
1 hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of
May, 1958, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Creaap, Davis, Evans, Giffin,
Marshall, Mitchell, Mavis, Porter, Rodgers., Ruppenthal,
