A RESOLUTION OF AMA CY CONTRACT
RESOLVED, by the Counoil,of the City of Palo Alto,
Cal4fornia� that
WHIRtAS, the City Manager of the City of Palo Alto did,
on thy 7th day of February /958, pub1iely open, examine and
dealer, all sealed proposals or bids for the work to be done and
impreVeM ente Ito bay *4*WidwvaodiasodItedweima sPw*'tt in Resolution
of Intention No. 2944 of said Council adopted January 13, 1957,
to whloh Resolution reference is hereby made for a description
of said work and improvements and the materials, supplies and
equipment to be furnished therefor;
WHEREAS, the City Manager haajeported his findings to
the Council, which findings have Weft duly considered by said
Council;
Not, Tom, ST X$ HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
the Council hereby rejects all of said proposals
or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the
oontract for doing said work and making said improvements to the
lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
FREEMAN PAVING COMPARY
at the prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Palo Alto
be, and they are hereby, authorized to make and enter into a
written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive and
approve all bonds in oonnection therewith.
