D. 1894, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, did pass and adopt, upon the petition of more than fifty qualified etitioners, an Ordinance entitled "An rdinance concerning the Incorpora- tion of the Town of Palo Alto," which. Ordinance is now in full force and; effect, and which Ordinance eats"dished and defined the boundaries of the pro- posed incorporation to be as follows to wit: All that certain land situated in the; County of Santa Clara, State of Cali- fornie, included in the towneite map of Y the Town of Palo Alto (formerly Uni- versity Park,) as laid down and des- ignated upon a map of said Town filed by Timothy Hopkins on the 27th day of; Fellruary, A. D. 1889, in the office of the Recorder of said County, in Liber "D" of Maps, page 89, and the, proposed boundaries of the said municipal corpora- , tion, are the boundaries of said Town of ? D. 1894, when the polls must be open at sunrise of the morning of the day of erection, and must be kept open until five o'clock of the afternoon of the same day, when the polls will be closed, „ at which election the qualified electors ^; of this County, entpfled upon the Great 6'' Re ester thereof, who shall have resided within the aforesaid limits for at least sixty days next preceding such election, are to vote upon the said proposed in- corporation of the said Town of Palo Alto, and the voters shall there cast) ballots which shall contain the words "For Incorporation" or "Against In- pp corporation," or words equivalent ', thereto, and also the names of the per -'p' sons voted for to fill the following offices of said incorporation, to wit: Five 'Members of the Board of Trustees.
