day ot December, 1957, at the hour of 7:30 p. m., at tbe Council
Chambers or the City Council of aa1d City, 1n the C1ty Hall, Palo
Alto, Cdl1torn1a, be and the same 1s hereby 1et as the day, hour
and place wbex-e and when any and all peraona having any objections
to the proposed abandonment may appear before said Couric11 and show
oauae why aa1d easement should not be abandoned.
That the falo Alto T1.Jl!!s, a daily newspaper ot
general circulat1on published and circulated 1n tbe City of Palo Alto,
is hereby designated aa the newspaper in which the City of Palo Alto
shall cause to be published, in the manner and form required by law,
a copy ot this resolution of intention. by causing the same to be
,ubl1ahed 1n said newspaper for at least two successive weeka prior
to the date ot the hearing of object1onB to the proposed abandon11ent.
SecMion 5. That the City Engineer or the said City of Palo Alto
shall cause to be oonspiououaly posted along the line ot the easement
proposed to be vacated notices of the passage of tl1s resolution or
intention at least ten days before the date aet for bearing. Sald
notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart., but at least three
notices shall be posted.
