RESOLVED, by tne City Council ot the Cit7 of Palo Alto,
Californ1a, that
WHEREAS. 1n the opinion of this council, 1 better price
for the 'bonda •111 not be obtained by their being offered at publ1c
sal~ and the public interest and economy will be aerv~d hereby;
NCJW, THEREPORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, ea follow~:
l. That the bonds in the amount or $84,157.SO issued
pursuant to Resolution of Intention Ho. 2824 adopted by th1B Coun
cil on March 25, 1957, be, and they a~e hereby, ordered sold to
the City of Palo Alto for the par amount thereof Without accrued
interest to the date of delivery, 111d bonde to bear interest at
the rate ot 5% per annum from their date to their reapective dates
or maturity.
2. That a warrant be issued by said City for ea1d amoun
and that aa1d bonds be retained by the City Treasurer for the
account or said City.
