RESOLUTION NO. 2833
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS FOR THE FIRST DIVISION OF BONDS
UNIVERSITY AVZNUE DISTRICT
OFF-STREET PARKINO
PROJECT NO. 5;.-13

RESOLVED, by the Council of the C'ty of Palo Alto, „r,1'for-
nia, that
1. The City Clerk is hereby directed to call for sealed
proposals of bids for the sale of $450,000.00 University Avenue
District, Parking Bonds of 1957, First Division to be issued in
the proceedings had and taken by this Council pursuant to its
Resolution No. :411 of intention adopted by it on March i3, 1953,
as modified.
Notice thereof shall be published twice in the Palo
Alto Tinges, a newspaper of gene -al circulation printed, published
and circulated In said City, the first of which shall be at least
10 days before the day fixed for receiving bids, and give notice
of the time and place when and where said bids will be publicly
opened, examined and declared.
The Council will furnish the legal opinion of the law
firm of Kirkbride, Wilson, Harzfeld ' Wallace, San Mateo, Cali-
fornia, unqualifiedly approving the legality of the proceedings
and the issuance of said bonds.

I hereby certify the foregoing, to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting held on the 8th day of April ig5?
by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Creeap, Cummings, Davis, Drysdale,
Giffin, Marshall, Mitchell, Nevis, Porter, Rodgers, Ruppen-
thal, Simpson.
