RESOLUTION ORDERING ABANDONMENT OF
PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT IN BLOCK 12,
STANFORD UNIVERSITY VILLA TRACT
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did, on the 25th
day of February, 1957, pass ite Resolution of Intention No. 2816 to
abandon a public utilities easement in Lots 34 and 35, Block 12,
Stanford University villa Tract in the City of Palo Alto, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, which easement is recorded in
Book 2136 of Official Records of Santa Clara County, page 334; and
WHEREAS, pureuant to said resolution, a public hearing was held
on March 25, 1957; and
WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted, the City Council of
the City of Palo Alto finds that said easement, as described herein
and in said Resolution of Intention No. 2816, is no longer necessary
for the purpose for which it was acquired and dedicated;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of the City of
Palo Alto hereby orders raid easement, as described herein and in
said Resolution of Intention No. 2816, abandoned.
The City Clerk shall cauee a certified copy of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara
Count j .
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and passed at a.regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto on Monday, the _Mt day of Maroh , 1957, by the
following vote:
Bishop, Byibee, Cresap, Cummings, Davis, Drysdale, Giffin,
AYES: Marshall, Mitchell, Mavis, Porter, Rodgers, Ruppenthal.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Corcoran, Simpson.
