RESOLUTION L.PPROVINO FINAL MAP OF TRACT NO. 1878
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does resolve as follows:
That the Subdivision Map of Tract No. 1878, being a subdivision
of a portion of Lot 8 in Block 2, Subdivision No. 5, Seale Tract,
recorded in Book "I'" of Maps at pages 26 and 27, Records of Santa
Clara County, California, prepared by Calvin M. Jones, Civil Engi-
neer, dated December, 1956, be and the sane hereby le approved and
accepted, subject to the subdivider's compliance with the provisions
set forth in Engineering Bulletin 57-7;
That said Final liap shall not be recorded until compliance with
the above conditions has been completed to the satisfaction of the
City Engineer of the City of Palo Alto;
BE IT FURTHER '"SOLVED that -all streets and portions of streets
shown upon said map within said subdivision be and the same hereby
are accepted as dedicated for public use, subject to the improvement
of said streets in accordance with standards established by the City
Council and City Engineer;.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that easements for public utilities pur-
poses under, on or over those certain strips of land lying between
the rear and/or side lines of lots and dotted lines and designated
"P.U.s." (Public Utility Easement) be and the same hereby are accepted
as dedicated for public use, such easements to be kept open and free
from build tugs and structures of any kind.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and passed at a,.regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Palo Alto on Monday, the llthday of Petrugrst, 1957, by the follow-
ing vote:
Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Cresap, Cummings, Davis,
Giffin, Marshall, Mitchell, Nevis, Porter, Rodgers,
Ruppenthal, Simpson.
None.
