A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
ANEUDINO MOLUTION. NO,, . 88 .. : TI $ARCING
AND USE OF CERTAIN' STREETS
The Council of the City of Pa.o Alto does resolve as follows:
Section I. Section 1 of Resolution No. 2788 regulating park-
ing and the .use of. Certain streets and establishing parking meter
zones and regulations hereby is amended by designating the follow-
ing as one-way streets, in addition to the streets and alleys already
designated upon a map entitled "Parking Zones Map of the City of
PAID Alto," and traffic thereon shall move only ire the direction
indicated:
Byron Street from Palo Alto Avenue to Lytton Avenue (south)
Channing Avenue from Alma Street to Guinda Street (east)
High Street from Hawthorne Avenue to Channing Avenue (south)
Homer Avenue from Alma Street to (Windt Streit (west)
Section 2. Section 2 of said resolution designating through.
highways hereby is amended by adding the following streets:
Byron Street from Palo Alto Avenue to Lytton Avenue
Channing Avenue from Alma Street to Newell Road
Guinda Street from Lytton Avenue to -banning Avenue
High Street from Hawthorne Avenue to Channing Avenue
Homer Avenue from Alma Street to Guinda Street
Section 3. The map entitled "Parking Zones Map of the City
of Palo Alto" establishing no parking zones and limited parking
zones is amended by adding thereto the following streets on which
parking is prohibited at all times:
Waveriey Street for one-half block north and south of
University. Avenue
University Avenue from The Circle to High Street
Section #. The 'City Engineer is directed to make the amend-
ments set forth above on said map.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the
City of Palo Alto on Monday, the 28th day of Januar, ,, 1957,
by the following vote:
ayzbee, Corcoran, Cressy, Davis, Giffin, Marshall,
Mitchell, Mavis, Rodgers.
