SOP RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TION TO AMON A PUBLIC UTILITIES 1.412101XT OVER PORTIONS OF TRACT MOUE 782 AND 800 WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has acquired a public utilities easement over portions of Tract limbers 782 and 800 in the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California, which ease- ment is recorded in Hook :928 of, pttioial Records of Santa Clara County, page 3031 and VMZIC U, said easement is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was acquired and dedioate4; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Palo Altos 2eat1Lo» 1. That it is the intention of the Council to close and abandon the easement hereinbefore described. jpoti_on 2. That any costs in connection with the vacation of this easement shall be paid by Louis A. Taylor and Arhbie Snider, 975 Springer Road, Los Altos, California. Section 3. That notice is hereby given that Monday, the llth day of February, 19..7, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., at the Council Chambers of the city Council of said City, in the City Hall, Palo Alto, California, be and the came is hereby set as the day;, hour and place where and when any and all persons having any objections to the proposed abandonment may appear before said Council and show cause why said easement should not be abandoned. emotion 4. That the Palo Alto Ties, a daily newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Palo Alto, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the City of Palo Alto shall cause to be published, in the manner and form re- quired by law, a oopy of this resolution of intention by causing the same to be published in said newspaper for at least two successive a weeks prior to the date of the bearing of objections to the pro- posed abandonment. Section 5. That tba City Engineer of the said City of Palo Alto shall oause to be conspicuously posted along the line of the easement proposed to be vacated .notices of the passage of this resolution of intention. Said noticed shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart but at least three notices shall be posted. The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro- duced and passed at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Palo Alto on Monday, the 1) tb day of January , 1957, by the following vote: Bishop, Byxbee, Corcoran, Cummings, Davis, Drysdale, AYES: Giffin, Marshall, Kitchell, Mavis,Porter, Rodgers, Simpson.
