A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4387, ENTITLED,
"A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AND OF IN-
TENTION TO ACQUIRE AND CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS"
UNIVERSITY AVENUE DISTRICT
STREET LIGHTING PROJECT NO. 70-94
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that the Project No. set forth in the caption of the Resolution cited
in the title, adopted by this Council on October 19, 1970, is amended
to read "Street Lighting Project No. 70-94".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 1 of said Resolution is
amended to add the following paragraph at the end thereof:
"In the event the University Avenue District Beautification
Project is approved in proceedings being conducted pursuant to Resolu-
tion No. 4386, A Resolution of Preliminary Determination and of In-
tention, adopted October 19, 1970, the description of the proposed
improvements set forth above shall be modified to conform to the im-
provements proposed to be included in that project."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 7 of said Resolution is
amended to read as follows:
"7. Said contemplated acquisitions and improvements, in the
opinion of said Council, are of more than local or ordinary public.
benefit, and the costs and expenses thereof are made chargeable upon
an assessment district, the exterior boundaries of which district are
the composite and consolidated area as more particularly shown on a
map thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk, identified as
'Proposed Boundaries ofUniversity Avenue District, Street Lighting
Project Assessment District - Project No. 70-94', to which reference
is hereby made for further particulars. Said map indicates by a
boundary line the extent of the territory included in the proposed
district and shall govern for all details as to the extent of the

1 hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true
and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted
by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at
a meeting thereof held on the loth day of November
1970, by the following vote of the members thereof:

Comstock, Dias, Gallagher, Norton, Pearson, Wheatley -
