RESOLUTION NO. 4362
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO MARIE L. BABKA UPON HER
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, MARIE L. BABKA retired on July 6, 1970 as an
Office Clerk II in the Treasurer's Department after more than
twenty-one years of continuous service with the City of Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, during her career with the City, MRS. BABKA has
earned the respect and friendship of her co-workers and a large
number of residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of her work performance
and appreciative of her efforts and dedication toward municipal
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as
well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community for
faithful service rendered to the City and extends to MARIE L.
BABKA its sincere good wishes for a long and happy retirement.
