HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4354i ORIGINAL APPROVED: ,1 RESOLUTION NO. 4354 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING RESOLUTION 2971 PROHIBITING PARKING ALONG A CERTAIN PORTION OF MIDDLEFIELD ROAD The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol- lows: SECTION 1. The following portion of Middlefield Road is hereby designated a zone in which parking is prohibited at all times: The east side of Middlefield Road from a point 200 feet north of East Meadow Drive to a point 175 feet south of East Meadow Drive as set forth in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof. SECTION 2. Section 6 of Resolution 2971 and the Parking Zones Map of the City of Palo Alto are amended accordingly. INTRODUCED AND PASSED: May 25, 1970 AYES: Arnold, Berwald, Clark, Comstock, Dias, Gallagher, Norton, Pearson NOES: None ABSENT: Beahrs, Spaeth, Wheatley ATTEST) C ty Cle APPROVED AS TO FORM: City Attorney Planni ity Devel ent APPROVED: c.,///11/40LA.404.44( Mayor WJML:KIJ:mh 5/2 0 30C RESOLUTION NO. 4354—A ORIGINAL A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND ASSESSMENT ROLL CALIFORNIA AVENUE AREA PARKING PROJECT NO. 65-9 RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, that WHEREAS, after proceedings to that end duly had and taken pursu- ant to the Palo Alto Municipal Code, a public hearing has been duly held on the Engineer's Report and assessment roll prepared for the fiscal year 1970-71 to pay the principal and interest on bonds issued pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 3950, adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto on January 3, 1967; WHEREAS, this Council has heard all persons having an interest in any real property within the parking assessment district; has heard all objections, protests or other written communications from any persons interested in the real property within said district; has taken and received oral and documentary evidence pertaining to the matters contained in said report, has remedied and corrected any errors or informalities in the report and revised and corrected any of the acts or determinations of the various City officials as con- tained therein; and is fully informed in the premises; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said Engineer's Report and assessment roll, and each of the assessments therein as duly revised and corrected, is hereby approved and confirmed. 2. That said report together with the certificate of the City Clerk as to the fact and date of the approval by this Council shall forthwith be delivered to the County of Santa Clara, and the County shall cause to be posted to the tax rolls in a column provided there- for, the amount of each of the assessments proposed to be levied and collected for said fiscal year as set forth in said report as con- firmed. * * * * * * APPROVED: I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting there- of held on the 8th day of June , 1970, by the following vote of the members thereof: AYES, and in favor thereof,Councilmen: Approved by majority voice vote NOES, Councilmen: ABSENT, Councilmen: Arnold, Berwald) Spaeth City Clerk o?
