ORIGINAL
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE LONG AND FAITHFUL
SERVICE OF DESMOND VASSAU
WHEREAS, during his seventeen years of continuous service
with the City DESMOND VASSAU earned the respect and friendship
of his co-workers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his work performance
and appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for the long and faithful service rendered to the City by
DESMOND VASSAU-until his untimely death and extends to Mrs.
Vassau its deep regrets for her loss. The City Clerk is directed
to convey a copy of this resolution to 'trs . Vassau.
