RESOLUTION NO. 4343
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO EDITH D. HOLT UPON HER
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, EDITH D. HOLT retired on March 27, 1970 as a
Library Assistant II at the main Library after more than
twenty-two years of continuous service with the City of Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, during her career with the City EDITH D. HOLT
has earned the respect and friendship of her co-workers and
a large number of residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of her work performance
and appreciative of her efforts and dedication toward municipal
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for faithful service rendered to the City and extends to
EDITH D. HOLT its sincere good wishes for a long and happy
retirement. -
