RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1 -‘LO ALTO
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4267 (THE COMPENSATIOt' PLAN)
TO ESTABLISH AN EDUCATION INCENTIVE PLAN
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. Resolution 4267 (The Compensation Plan) is hereby
amended to add the following subsection to Section 2 of EXHIBIT A
thereof:
"K. Educational Incentives
1. Monetary incentives for educational improvement
for specific areas of need shall be in conformance
with appropriate administrative directives.
Educational incentives for the Police Department
shall be as follows:
a. Four quarter units per year $120.00
$4.00 per unit additional above
4 units to a fiscal year maximum of $240.00
b. Cash Awards.
1. P.O.S.T. intermedicate certificate $100.00
2. P.O.S.T. advanced certificate $150.00
3. A.A. degree or junior class
standing $150.00
4. A.B./B.S.. degree $300.00"
SECTION 2. All other provisions of Resolution 4267 shall
remain in full force and effect.
