RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO JACK HURLEY UPON HIS
RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, JACK HURLEY retired on November 9, 1969, as a
field clerk in the Gas, Water & Sewer Department after more
than fifteen years of continuous service with the City of
Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, during his career with the City JACK HURLEY has
earned the respect and friendship of his co-workers and a
large number of residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his work performance
and appreciative of his efforts and dedication toward municipal
service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation
as well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community
for faithful service rendered to the City and extends to JACK
HURLEY its sincere good wishes for a long and happy retirement.
