RESOLUTION NO. 4308
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVED BY ORtINANCE
2050, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION 3888, FOR THE PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 1791 ARASTRADERO ROAD
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2050, adopted August 28, 1961, as
amended by Resolution 3888, adopted May 16, 1966, established
a P -C zone district for certain property known as 1791 Arastradero
Road; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto based on the
findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission wishes
to amend the development schedule established by the afore-
mentioned ordinance and resolution to permit the construction
of improvements as described on EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. EXHIBIT A attached ',ereto and incorporated
herein is hereby adopted as the Development Plan for the property
known and described as 1791 Arastradero Road.
SECTION 2. The Development Plan as shown on EXHIBIT A is
approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The number of full-time, and part-time employees shall not
exceed 101 persons.
2. There shall be no classroom or school operation.
3. 101 off-street parking spaces shall be maintained for the
exclusive use of automobile parking. Vehicle parking shall
not be permitted within the "turn -around" at the end of the
on -site road. Suitable signs and pavement markings shall be
provided and maintained to insure compliance with this
requirement.
4. Screening shrubs shall be not less than 5 -gallon can size.
Screening trees shall be not less than 15 -gallon can size.
Planting shall be true -to -name, first-class nursery stock
and shall be maintained and replaced as necessary. Pro-
vision for watering of planted areas is to be provided as
required by the City Engineer.

5. Grading and erosion control devices shall be in accordance
with the Palo Alto Municipal Code and the requirements of
the Palo Alto City Engineer.
6. All changes, corrections and improvements shall be completed
within nine months of the effective date of this resolution.
There shall be no further development or changes of any
kind or increase in activity without prior approval of the
City Council following the required procedure for changes
in the approved P -C District Development Plan.
7. All provisions of Ordinance No. 2050 and Resolution No. 3888,
not in conflict herewith, shall remain in full force and
effect.
