A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4211
ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND LOCATED IN THE CITY
OF PALO ALTO, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF EMINENT
DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS"
MISCELLANEOUS STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 67-3
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, California
that
WHEREAS, the description of Parcel 139, as described in Resolution
No. 4211 is to be amended it is the intention of the City Council to amend
said Resolution for the purpose of inserting therein a revised description of
said parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED that
said Resolution be, and it is, hereby amended by striking therefrom the
property description of Parcel 139 in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B",
incorporated therein, and by inserting in lieu thereof the revised property
description of said Parcel 139, as more particularly described in Exhibit
"A-1" and "B-1", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of the above Resolution duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Palo Alto at a regular meeting thereof held on the
2nd
day of September , 1969, by the following vote:

Comstock, Dias, Gallagher, Pear son, Wheatley

resolution was adopted by a vote of more than two-thirds of all
of the members of said Council.

EXHIBIT "A-1"
ACQUISITION PARCEL NO. 139
BEGINNING at a point in the northeasterly curved line of
the Bayshore Highway (125 feet wide), that is distant northwesterly along
the northeasterly line of the Bayshore Highway 300 feet from the point of
intersection of the northeasterly line of the Bayshore Highway with the
northwesterly line of O'Brine Lane as said lane is designated on the map
hereinafter referred to; running thence northwesterly along said line of
the Bayshore Highway 341.46 feet to a point that is distant southeasterly
along said line 37 feet from the westerly line of that certain parcel of
land secondly described in the deed from E. A. Tobin to Etta F. Boynton,
dated December 16, 1935, recorded February 14, 1936, Book 764, Official
Records, page 31; Santa Clara County Records; thence leaving said line,
of Bayshore Highway and running N. 70° 05' E. 265 feet, more or less,
to the northeasterly line of land so conveyed to Boynton, hereinabove re-.
ferred to, said point being the true point of beginning of the parcel to be
described; thence from said true point of beginning along said last named
line S. 19° 55' E 5.00 feet; thence S. 70° 05' W. 168.00 feet; thence
S. 19° 55' E. 5.00 feet; thence S. 70° 05' W. 47.42 feet; thence along
the arc of a tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 10 feet, through
a central angle of 116° 39' 15", a distance of 20.36 feet to a point on the
northeasterly line of East Bayshore Road; thence northwesterly along said
East Bayshore Road 27.40 feet; thence N. 70' 05' E. 236.66 feet to the
true point of beginning, being a Portion of Lot 7 of the Partition and Sub-
division of a part of the lands of the Estate of Maria Louisa Sota de Greer,
deceased, in the Rancho Rinconada del Arroyo de San Francisquito, deeded
by M. C. de Miramontes to Robert L. Greer, et al., by deed of September
3, 1885 as shown upon a map of said partition recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, in Bonk
"D" of Maps, page 79.
