RESOLUTION NO. 4294
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF BONDS BY CITY
FOOTHILLS GAS SYSTEM PROJECT NO. 68-82
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, that
WHEREAS, in the opinion of this Council, the public interest and
economy will be served through the purchase by the City of bonds to
represent unpaid assessments levied pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 4230, adopted April 7, 1969;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the bonds in the amount of $19,068.78, to be issued pur-
suant to said Resolution of Intention be, and they are hereby ordered sold
to the City of Palo Alto for the par amount thereof with accrued interest
to the date of delivery, said bonds to bear interest at the rate of six
and three-quarters percent ( 6 - 3/4 %) per annum.
2. That said bonds be printed forthwith and upon their delivery
to the City, the principal amount of said bonds be transferred to the
Construction Fund for said project, and that said bonds be retained by
the City Treasurer for the account of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Palo Alto, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 4th day of
August, 1969, by the following vote of the members them -TT --
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Arnold, Beahrs, Berwald,
Clark, Dias, Gallagher, Norton, Pearson, Wheatley
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT, Councilmen: Comstock, Spaeth
