RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALO ALTO ORDERING THE VACATION OF EASEMENTS
FOR EMBANKMENTS
(EAST MEADOW CIRCLE)
WHEREAS, it is the intention
of Palo Alto to vacate embankment
Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara,
said easements being ten (10) feet
of the Council of the City
easements in the City of
State of California,
in width originally
acquired for the purpose of constructing embankments nec-
essary for the construction of street improvements, acquired
in conjunction with the Deed of Dedication granted to the
City of Palo Alto by California Pacific Commercial Corpora-
tion, Book 4003, pages 409 to 413, on February 11, 1958;
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
hereby find that the aforesaid easements have not been used
for the purpose for which they were dedicated or acquired
for five consecutive years next preceding the date of this
resolution; and
WHEREAS, from all the evidence submitted to the Council
of the City of Palo Alto, it is found that said easements
as described herein are unnecessary for present or prospec-
tive embanknl,nt purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section
50443 of the Government Code of the State of California,
the Council of the City of Palo Alto does hereby order that

said embankment easements as described herein be, and
hereby are vacated.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of Santa Clara County.
