ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 4281 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP PALO ALTO APPROVING A BOUNDARY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW AND THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ESTABLISHING FUTURE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO WHEREAS, there is an unincorporated area between the City of Mountain View and the City of Palo Alto, and WHEREAS, the City of Mountain View and the City of Palo Alto each intend to annex certain portions of said unincor- porated areas, and WHEREAS, the City of Mountain View and the City of Palo Alto have agreed to a boundary between the two cities as shown and described on the map attached hereto, made a part hereof and designated EXHIBIT A, and WHEREAS, annexation of this area to the City of Mountain View and the City of Palo Alto in the near future is contemplated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Palo Alto agrees that the future boundary between the respective cities shall be as shown and described in EXHIBIT A. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon passage of a similar resolution by the Council of the City of Mountain View, the respective cities shall submit their resolutions to the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission. RESOLUTION NO. 4280-A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4062 TO DELETE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did, on January 15, 1968, by resolution, reaffirm the support for the establishment of a County Housing Authority, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto did, by Resolution No. 4062, authorize the Santa Clara County Housing Authority to operate within the city limits of the City of Palo Alto, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to delete the minimum residence requirement as a qualification for tenants for housing within the limits of the City of Palo Alto, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto wishes to urge the Santa Clara County Housing Authority to give preference to applicants who are residents of the City of Palo Alto, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 4062 is hereby amended to delete Section (a) therefrom. SECTION 2. That the Council hereby expresses its concern that applicants who are residents of the City of Palo Alto be given preference for placement within the limits of the City of Palo Alto. SECT/ON 3. That the Clerk is hereby directed to submit this resolution to the Santa Clara County Housing Authority. INTRODUCED AND PASSED: July 14, 1969.
