RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
HONORING JUDGE PAUL I. MYERS UPON HIS RET/REMENT
WHEREAS, the Honorable Paul I. Myers has servid as a judge
of the municipal court for the Palo Alto -Mountain View Judicial
District continuously for nearly fifteen years; and
WHEREAS, the Honorable Paul I. Myers has recently retired
as senior judge of said court, after a legal career spanning more
than thirty-five years; and
WHEREAS, the Honorable Paul I. Myers is renowned as a
compassionate person whose judicial career is marked by kindness
and concern for the rights of all persons who have appeared before
him,in the highest traditions of the California judiciary; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto, by and through its City
Council, wishes to express its appreciation to the Honorable
Paul I. Myers for his many years of outstanding service to the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto gratefully records its appreciation for the contribution
of the Honorable Paul I. Myers to the administration of justice in
this community, and expresses its sincere best wishes for a long
and happy retirement.
