RESOLUTION NO. 4270
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO WILLIAM E. MARSHALL UPON
HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, WILLIAM E. MARSHALL will retire on July 11, 1969,
as a:meter repairman, Department of Water -Gas -Sewer, after almost
twenty-four years of continuous service with the City of Palo
Alto; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM E. MARSHALL has contributed significantly
to building and maintaining a reliable and efficient gas utility
system for the City of Palo Alto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby gratefully records its appreciation as well
as the appreciation of the citizens of this community for faithful
services rendered to the City and extend to WILLIAM E. MARSHALL
its sincere good wishes for a long and happy retirement.
