RESOLUTION NO. 4248
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 4230
FOOTHILLS GAS SYSTEM ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 68-82
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council did, on April 7, 1969, adopt its Resolution
of Intention No. 4230 to acquire public improvements in and for said
City;
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1969, this Council adopted a resolution
appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the
proposed acquisitions and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated
in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affidavits on file
in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time
therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications
were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be
heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against the said acquisitions were not signed
by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within
the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the
assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said
acquisitions.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby, over-
ruled. ,

1 hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting there-
of held on the 5th day of May , 1969 , by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Arnold, Beahrs, Berwald, Clark,
Comstock, Gullixson, Pearson, Wheatley
NOES, Councilmen: None
