RESOLUTION NO. 4239
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION AND
REDISTRIBUTION CF ASSESSMENTS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONSTRUCTION BIDS
OLD TRACE ROAD, ET AL.
PROJECT NO. 64-4
1969 PROCEEDINGS
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution
No. 4215 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention, adopted by
this Council on March 10, 1969, was $639,104.39, of which an esti-
mated $129,971.87 was to be contributed, leaving a balance to assess-
ment of $509,132.52;
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said esti-
mate may be reduced to $ 580, 802.41 , of which $138,626.82
will be contributed, leaving a balance of assessment of $ 442,175.59 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the total assessment is hereby reduced to $ 442,175.59
and ordered redistributed among each of the individual assessments,
using the actual construction pricerl for each item of work in place
of the original estimates.
2. That the assessment roll, as redistributed in Column 2
thereof, is hereby approved and ordered to be recorded in the office
of the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Palo Alto.

X hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting there-
of held on the 28th day of April , 1969, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Arnold, Berwald, Clark,
Comstock, Dias, Gallagher, Gullixson, Pearson, Spaeth, Wheatley
