RESOLUTION NO. 4223
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
CHANGING THE P -C DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVED BY
345
ORDINANCE NO. t64 -3 -APPLYING TO PROPERTY KNOWN AS
1700 EMBARCADERO ROAD
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Development Plan attached hereto as
EXHIBIT "A" is substituted for the P -C Development Plan

approved by Ordinance No. 1643 applying to property known as
1700 Embarcadero Road.
SECTION 2. Said EXHIBIT "A" is hereby adopted and
approved subject to the following conditions:
a. Off-street parking, landscaping, lighting,
signs, and other improvements shall be substantially
as shown on the proposed Development Plan, except that
the sign adjacent to the East Bayshore Frontage Road
driveway shall be re -located to a distance of twelve (12)
feet from the driveway.
b. Directional arrows shall be painted on the pave-
ment as designated by the City Traffic Engineer to in-
dicate proper movement of traffic.
c. The Development Schedule shall be as follows:
1. Start of construction within sixty (60) days
of CouLcil approval.
2. Completion of all construction and development
within one year of start of construction.
SECTION 2. All other provisions of Ordinance No.
1643 shall remain in force and effect.

SECTION 3. Resolution No. 4210 is hereby rescinded.

SUBJECT AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
1700 Embarcadero Road
It has come to our attention that a scrivener's error
was made on Resolutions 4210 (now rescinded) and 4223. The
error consisted of naming Ordinance No. 1643 as the ordinance
being amended by resolution rather than ordinance No. 2378
which was the ordinance establishing the P -C zoning for
1700 Embarcadero Road.
Please change the title and Section 1 of Resolutions
No. 4210 and No. 4223 to reflect the correction from
Ordinance No. 1643 to Ordinance 2378.
The minutes of March 3, 1969 and March 24, 1969 should
also reflect this change as the titles of the two resolutions
are set forth in these minutes.
Section 2.04.330 subsection (e) of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code provides:
"(e) The correction of typographical
or clerical errors,shall not constitute an amendment within
the meaning of this section."
