RESOLUTION NO. 4204
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION NO. 4183 OF PRELIMINARY
DETERMINATION AND OF INTENTION
STANFORD INDUSTRIAL PARK
UNDERGROUND UTILITIES CONVERSION
PROJECT NO. 68-83
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council, on December 2, 1968, did adopt its Resolu-
tion No. 4183 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention to acquire
and construct public improvements in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on December 16, 1969, this Council adopted a resolution
appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the
proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated
in the manner provided by law, as appears from tie affidavits on
file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time
therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications
were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desirii.I to be
heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements
were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of
the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands
within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses
of said work.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby, over-
ruled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 27th day of January , 19 69,
by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Arnold, Beahrs, Berwald, Clark, Comstock, Dias, Gallagher,
Gullixson, Pearson, Spaeth, Wheatley
