RESOLUTION NO. 4202
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE C/TY OP PALO ALTO
CHANGING THE P -C DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 1561 APPLYING TO THE PROPERTY KNOWN
AS 4201 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. The Development Plan attached hereto as EXHIBIT A
is substituted for that portion of the P -C Development Plan approved
by Ordinance No. 1561 applying to the property known as 4201
Middlefield Road, as shown by EXHIBIT B attached hereto.
SECTION 2. Said EXHIBIT A is hereby adopted and approved
subject to the following conditions:
a. Structures, landscaping and signs shall be sub-
stantially as shown on the plan with the exception that the
pump island canopy shall be set back twelve (12) feet from
San Antonio Avenue.
b. Lighting shall be designed and installed so as not
to cause distraction or hazard to vehicular traffic.
c. All operations shall be conducted within an en-
closed building except servicing vehicles with gas, oil, air
and water.
d. The development schedule shall be as follows:
(1) Start of construction within six (6) months of
Council approval.
(2) Completion of all construction and development
within one year of Council approval.
e. Signs are approved as indicated in the plans pro-
vided they do not exceed the requirements of the Palo Alto
Sign Ordinance as applying to service stations in general
at the time the use permit is issued.
SECTION 3. A11 other provisions of Ordinance No. 1561
shall remain in force and effect.
