A RESOLU TION O VERRULING PROTESTS ON
RESOLUTION NO. 4122 OF PRELIMINARY
DETERMINATION AND OF INTENTION
MISCELLANEOUS STREETS PROJECT NO. 67-3
RESOLVED, by the C ouncil of the City of P alo Alt o, California,
tha t
WHEREAS, this Council did, on May 6, 1968, adopt its Reso-
lutio n No. 4122 of Pr elimina ry Determi nation and of Intention to
acqu ire an d co nstru ct public impr oveme nts in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1968, this Council adopt ed a resolutio n
appointing time and place of hearing protests in. rel ation to the
propo sed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated
inthe ma nner provided by la w, as appear s from the affida vits on
file in the o ffice of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regular ly fo r hearing at the time
ther ein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all w ritten protests and other writte n communicatio ns
we re public ly r ead at s aid meeting and a ll persons desiring to be
he ard wer e fully he ard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That pr otests against sa id acquisitions and improvements
were si signed by the ow ners of a ma jo rity or more of the area of
the lands within the assessmen t district, or of the area of the
lan ds within the a ssessme nt district a ssessed for the costs and
expenses of said work.
2. Tha t said pro teats be, and each of them are hereby, over-
ruled.
