EXPRESSING APPRECIATIO N TO HERBERT A. ECKLAND FOR
HIS SERV/CES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, HERBERT A. ECKLAND h as b een associ at ed with the
City of Palo Alto for twenty-eight years in positi ons of in-
cre as ing responsibility in the Depa rtment of P ublic W orks and
Engine ering, and
WHEREAS, HERBERT A. ECKL AND has gained the respect and
admir ation of those who worked with him for his knowledge and
assistance in carryin g out his duti es as Associ ate Engineer,,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that th e C ouncil of th e
City of Pa lo Alto here by gratefully records th e appreciati on of
the members of this Cou ncil as well as the appr eciatio n of the
citizen s of this community fo r the long, faithful and c onscien-
tious servic e of HERBERT A. ECRL AND to the City of Palo Alto
