RESOLUTION NO. 4526
P.ESOLtJTION OP THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION 'l'O CHARLES B. SAVAGE UPON
HIS RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, CHARLES B. SAVAGE retired on December 3, 1971,
after more than nineteen years of service with the City of
Palo Alto Police Dapartnent: and
WHEREAS, CHARLES 8. SAVAGE, while serving as a police
officer, was injured in the line of duty1 and
WHEREAS, CHARLES B. SAVAGE received many commendations from
the public, citizens, and supervisors for his work as a Palo Alto
police officer: and
WB:$REAS, the City Council is proud of his performance and
dedication toward municipal service,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council qf the City
of Palo Alto gratefully records its appreciation as well as t..~e
appreciation of the citizens of Palo Alto for faithful service
and extends to CHARLES B. SAVAGE its sincere best wishes for a
long and happy retirement.

due the State Agency on receipt of invoice.
Past due accounts will be subject to a 20% additional charge
on the unpaid balance due thirty days after a 90 day statement
is mailed to recipient agency.
