HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4513••• 01<ililNAL RESOLUTION NO. 4513 RESOLUTIC~ 1j_F' THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING ORDINANCE 2565 FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS 488 WEST CHARLESTON ROAD TO CHANGE THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN WHEREAS, on July 6, 1970, the Council passed-Ordinance 2565 approving the Development Plan and Schedule for the above property and zoned the same P-C (Planned Conununity); and WHEREAS, the developer desires to change the development plan. and development schedule to provide for an addition to the building to be used as a facility for recording musical text books. The change of P-C Development Plan and Development Schedule is necessary for the public interest, safety, convenience and general welfare. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2565 is hereby amended by substituting the plan entitl~d " Development Plan for Revised P-C District-Claire Sisson Small -Applicant, revised June 19, 1971" • SECTION 2. --Said Development Plan is approved pursuant to Section 18.68.070 of the-Palo Alto Municipal Code subject to the following conditions: 1. Uses. Recording and clerical functions of the San Francisco Peninsula Unit of Recording for the Blinq, Inc. and other uses (except the manufacture or sales activities) of non-profit charitable organizations benefiting the blind as approved by the Chief .Building Official of the City of Palo Alto. 2. Improvement~. (a) The development ~hall be substantially as shown on the approved Developme~t Plan. -1 - . ,,• .. ... (b) All structures shall be maintained, improved, modified or removed as required by the Chief Building Official of the City of Palo Alto for safety and as required for change of occupancy and use. (c) The detached apartment unit shall be removed and the structure restored to its original intended us~ as required by the Chief Building Official of the City of Palo Alto. (d) Off-street parking shall be provided as shown on the Development Plan. Additional parking space(s) shall be improved as directed by the City of Palo Alto Building Official to accommodate the entire parking demand of the operation. 3. Development Schedule. Start of cor.struction within twenty (20) days of Council approval. Completion of construction within ninety (90) days of start of construction. SECTION 3. All other provisions of Ordinance 2565 shall re- main in full force and effect.
