RESOLUTION NO. 4510
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO APPOlNT A CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, George E. Morgan has resigned as City Manager
effective October 9, J.971; and
WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 3, of the Charter of the City
of Palo Alto provides for the appointment of a City Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION l. The Council hereby declares its intention to
appoint a City Manager not less than thirty days following
the publication provided for hereafter.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to publish a copy
of this resolution once in the ~ Alto Times.
SECTION 3. Thi~ resolution shall become effective
October 9, 1971.
