' .SOLUTION NO. 4498 • ORIGINAL RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO ---~-- ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR COUNCIL-APPOINTED OFFICERS (Effective June 28, 1971) . ,. / I The council of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as fol- lows: SECTION 1. The salary for Council-appointed officers is hereby set as follows: COUNCIL APPOINTED OFFICERS 801 810 815 820 City Manager City Attorney City Controller City Clerk PER MONTH $2800 2150 1750 1050 SECTION 2. The salary of said above Council-appointed officers shall become effective June 28, 1971, and shall con- tinue in effect until amended or revoked by the Council. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately provided, however, that the salary provisions hereof shall not be administratively implemented until the EXECUTIVE ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES PROVIDING FOR STABILIZATION OF PRICES, RENTS, WAGES, AND SALARIES dated August 14, 1971, is found to be inapplicable to the em:.>loyees of the City of Palo Alto or November 12, 1971, whichever sooner occurs. Administrative implementation at that ·time shall be pursuant to Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. For all Council-appointed officers this resolution supersedes Resolution No. 4639 and all amendments -l - ,-.i ~-.. \ I ' Ii • • thereof.
