RESOLUTION NO. 4481
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
EXPRESSING APPRECIA~ION ON THE RETIREMENT OF
HUGH C. GREEN
WHEREAS, HUGH c. G~EN r~tired on July 20, 1971, as a utility
~ervicernan II for the Water-Gas-Sewer ~apartment after twenty-two
years of continuous service with the City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, during his career with the City HUGH c. GREEN has
earned the friendship of his co-workers and the respect of a large
number of residents1 and
WHEREAS, the City Council is proud of his work performance
and apprecia_tive of his efforts and dedication toward municipal
service.
_,..; NOW, THEREFORE I BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Palo Alto hereby qratefully records its appreciation as well
as the appreciation of the citizens of this conununity for faithful
service rendered to tne City and extends to HUGH c. GREEN ita
sincere qood wishes for a long and happy retirement.
