RESOLUTION NO. 4477
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY o·~' PALO ALTO
COMMENDING THE OUTSTANDING PUBLIC SERVICE OF
COUNCILMAN FRANK E. GALLAGHER
WHEREAS, Frank E. (Ned) Gallagher served the City of Palo
Alto as Councilman from 1967 to 1971 and as Vice Mayor from
1970 to 1971 during which time he served at times as acting
Mayor, guiding the Council through its many duties; and
WHEREAS, Frank E. (Ned) Gallagher has given unselfishly
of his time and talents during one of the most important periods
in the history of the City: and
WHEREAS, through the efforts and contributions of Frank E.
(Ned). Gallagher, the City continued to occupy a position of
eminence in-terms of the quality of service provided to its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto dt~ires to recognize the
meritorious service of Frank E. (Ned) Gallagher;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Palo Alto hereby commends the outstanding public service
of Frank E. (Ned) Gallagher and records its appreciation as
well as the appreciation of the citizens of this community for __
the service and contribution rendered during his term on the
Council.
