RESOLUTION NO. 4458
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING ORDINANCE 2585 FOR PROPERTY KNOWN AS
2450 WEST BAYSHORE ROAD CHANGING THE DEVELOPMENT
PLAN AND THE TIME OF THE DEVELO?MENT SCHEDULE AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION 4436
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1970, the Council passea Ordinance
2585 approving the Development Plan and Time Schedule for the
above property and zoned the same P-C (Planned Community); and
WHEREAS, on April 5, 1971, the Council passed Resolution
4436 amending the above ordinance to extend for sixty days the
time for beginning of construction; and
WHEREAS, the developer desires to change the development
plan and development schedule to acconunodate the changes required
for a building permit to be issued and to facilitate federal
funding of the development plan. The change of P-C Development
Plan and Development Schedule is necessary for the public interest,
safety, convenience and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2585 is hereby
a.~ended by substituting the plan entitled "Development Plan Show-
ing Building Locations and Setbacks to Accompany Application for
Change of District to P-C Applicant: Alpha Land Companyw dated
April, 1971 for the plan dated August, 1970 and further that the
buildings shown on-said plan shall not exceed a heiqht of thirty-
three (33) feet. All other provisions except Section 3 of
Ordinance No. 2585 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 2. That Section 3 of ordinance No. 2585 is amended
to read as follows:
"Development Schedule:
(a) Start of construction within six (6) months of the
date of this resolution.

(b) Completion of all construction and development
within one (1) year of start of construction."
SECTION 3. That Resolution 4436, adopted April 5, 1971 is
hereby rescinded.
