HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESO 4457• • RESOLUTION NO. 445 7 RBSOLOTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO TO DESIGNATE CERTAIN LANDS IN THE PALO ALTO FOOTHILLS FOR OPEN SPACE, CONSERVATION AND/OR PARK USES llRDREAS, the City's Consultant ha~ recommended that. certain lands ·tn ·the Palo Alto Foothills be used for open space, con- servation and/or park use; and WHEREAS, said lands are not now so designated in the City's General Plan1 and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on April 28, 1971, and by Resolu~ion No~ 117 of the Planning Com- mission of the City of Palo Alto recommended amendments of the General Plan by the designation of said lands for open space, conservation and/or park uses; and WHEREAS, the City Council on June 7, l9iJ. !.:.Ld a public hearing on this matter. NOW, THEREFORE: the C0\1'.&Cil of the City of Palo Alto does RESOLVE as follows: ~SECTION 1, That-the map ~n~itied 8 Gent"a~ Plan Amendment (Foothills Area)" be incorpora~ed into the General Plan~ A copy of said map is attached here~o as EXHIBIT A and incorporated herein by retdrence~ SECTION 2.
